After studying hundreds of websites, we discovered a formula among successful ones. Most large corporations are now using we we term a Billboard Site". These sites almost always feature a branding bar with upper left logo placement, left to right primary navigation and an attention grabbing billboard. This makes a lot of sense because the average site has mere seconds to grab a viewers attention and develop interest.

In our design process, we guide our clients through a number of site layout alternatives. Once an appropriate layout is select we are able to spend most of our time working on bilboard concepts that get attention.

Series 750:

These layouts are optimized for the 800 x 600 monitor setting and can be viewed from 99% of monitors. These are the recommended layout for most consumer and small business websites since between 10 and 20% of monitors are stll 800 x 600. The Look and Feel Price starts at $750.

Series 900:

These layouts are optimized for the 1024 x 768 monitor setting and can be viewed by over 80% of monitors without scrolling to the right. This layout is recommended for many of our B2B and more sophisticated clients who normally see the web with higer resolution monitors. The current BrandMother site is a Series 900 and IBM moved over to a similar dimension in July 2007. Look and Feel begins at $900.
